More Visit Pics...

Nana helped us in school and one day we made these neat little booklets that started with "My House" and continued on through "My State" etc. all the way to "My Planet".

At one point I asked Nathan to help clean up the mess & he replied in all seriousness, "What mess?" Such an interesting perspective - he just saw the creativity & fun! Oh that I could adopt that same view more often!

One of Mark's favorite things to do with Papa was to work on this very detailed puzzle. They had so much fun mulling over it together! They were able to finish it & attach it to a board to hang in Mark's room which will be a special reminder of his time together with Papa .

Nana & Papa

Nana & Papa are visiting with us from Canada right now & the boys are LOVING it! I so enjoy standing back a little and watching all the love.

Nana plays another round of Candy Land.

Papa re-canes our canoe seats for us - very cool! He is a gifted craftsman.

Birthday Cupcakes

John had to be out of town on Nathan's birthday, so we decided to have a party with cake at a later time, but I still wanted to have some b.day fun.

So, the boys and I made cupcakes.

The Etsy Shop

I opened my little Etsy shop on Feb 14 and have been delighted to have sales every week since. I think we are up to about $120. which might not seem like a lot compared to the cost of adoption but is so encouraging to me anyway. Every little bit counts.  It is very hard for me to go on with my life as "normal" knowing the plight of countless parentless children, & being able to stitch these toys helps me feel I can do something!

So I will keep on stitching! :)
