Simple Joys at the Beach

We went to the SC coast for the weekend for Luke's soccer tourney.  The team had a rough go of it but we sure did have fun relaxing and playing as a family. My favorite part was our long walk on the beach. Not to sound corny, but it was like a healing balm to my soul...something about the surf, shells, sand, sea birds and my five fave people in the world...the beach is just a very good place for me.

We've been enjoying warmer weather,

...snuggling with buddies,

...and we found the Baby Jesus that had been missing from our Crèche set! Ha! 

We're back to the hospital tomorrow for a routine check up for Sam. So far, his new treatment seems to be working well and we are feeling optimistic and very, very thankful.
