Luke (8) to Mark (10), "You don't know everything yet! Maybe when you are fifteen...."
Nathan to me, "Why does my cereal taste like a sloth?"

Sick....& Other Updates
This is day #12 that I've been really quite sick, not that I'm counting or anything! Ha! I'm taking some hot shot antibiotics now so am hoping to get my energy back soon...
We are busy with lots of neat projects & upcoming adventures that I will tell you about just as soon as I can. I just don't want to blab & jump the gun before it's all as "for sure" as possible.
Today is our last day of school! Yay!!! Swim Team begins tonight, & for me, that means Summer is here. The boys will still work on basic skills like reading & math, but we'll be more casual about it and it won't be every day. I am so thankful to take a break!

Snuggle
Nathan - 7
Jake - 100?
We adopted the old guy as a Senior a year ago so we really don't know his age, just that he is a sweetie & as old as the hills!

Nathan's Room
Nathan's room looked like this the other day.
I asked him what happened in there.
He told me,
" Mom, it exploded.
You're lucky you weren't in there when it happened."

More Felties
I'm continuing to work on the felties most days. I have had 21 sales out of the shop and about the same number just locally. I'm doing a large craft fair next November so am trying to stock pile for that as well. It's been fun to create and try new colors and patterns and I'm so thankful I've discovered a marketable skill to grow our adoption fund.

Soccer
I never guessed soccer would be a big part of our lives but when two of your kids are Ghanaian and the #1 sport there is futball (soccer)....well...I should have known!
This is Luke with his U-10 challenge team, taken a few weeks ago (above).
Nathan on the side lines with a friend
Nathan played last year and will begin again in the Fall.
Mark plays too but I don't have a good recent shot except for this one of him with John on sidelines.
All the boys will be going to a weekend long soccer camp soon ....and then Swim Team begins! Fun!
I think I am looking forward to Summer Holidays even more than the boys are this year!
