Patty: I am a Christian woman, a wife & a Mom. I adore my cute husband of 16 years & am crazy about my three sons who sometimes make ME crazy!! As of September 2009, we are officially a family of five, after we adopted our two youngest sons from Ghana.

Our Family

Pets

We have a menagerie of much-loved pets, from dogs to chickens. I, Patty, really enjoy dog training - especially for therapy work.

Juneau

This is Luke with our sweet Juneau. She's our Rottweiller mix with a heart of gold that we rescued June 2010. I'm hoping to eventually pass the CGC test with her but we have a lot of work to do as she was unsocialized/traumatized as a pup & has a lot of fear issues. We are slowly working through them though...

Tirian

We were not planning to get a cat in our dog-loving home, but when a friend found a kitten in the ditch I was smitten with the little guy! Tirian is a perfect blend of fearless & sweet & does just fine with our busy family. He has lovely blue eyes, not those wierd glowing ones in the picture! It's so hard to get a good shot of him.

"Old Man Jake"

We adopted Jake as a 10 year old. He was going to be euthanized because of his advanced age & I can't tell you what a joy he has been! Such a sweet heart!

Ben

Ben was our eleven year old "little bear". He was the funniest dog alive & we loved him for the comic relief & fluffy hugs he provided. We were devastated to have to put our dear friend to sleep on Christmas Eve, 2010, as a result of age related severe illness that we had been battling for some time. He will always be fondly remembered & loved .

Hunter 2006 - 2010

Our German Shepherd, Hunter, had his Therapy Dog Intl. license. He was a clumsy, sweet, and very loveable goof ball! We were crushed to lose him to canine mental illness (yeah, it CAN actually happen! )the Spring of 2010.
