Here we all are pre-adoption. I can't wait to be able to post a picture of us all post-adoption!
In case any of you are wondering, this is the adoption process we are beginning (as I understand it):
*Prepare for Home Study (what we are doing now)
*Home Study (should take about 2-3 weeks)
*Prepare dossier to send to Ghana (This is LOTS of official paperwork.)
*Wait to be matched with a child/children
*Once we are matched, which will be SO exciting, it will take 4-5 months for all the legal work to be completed in Ghana.
*Get our child/children!!!!!!!!
*Do 3 home visits with a social worker
*Finalize adoption in the USA
